Our punk band Bury Mia was in need of an eye-catching design for the cover of its latest single. Cover art is often a... listener's first interaction with a band’s music and with so much music being discovered online these days, there are many more chances where a visual connection can be made. But there’s also a lot more competition to capture a listener's attention as they browse online playlists. We were looking for a design that not only stood out but also captured the personality of the band as well as the energy of our music. When I placed an ad for a cover illustrator I didn't know what to expect. It was truly a blessing when sillygoose.co... responded to the ad. She was extremely professional, responsive, and knowledgable. I was amazed at the likeness to my mother! I am writing a short story based on my angel connection with her and... referring to that story in my documentary. I don't have photos of her at age 7 and so I gave only a photo of her at age 50. What I got back was a drawing that looked so much like my sister (now deceased) at age 7 that it took my breath away! My family is disjointed (for many, very good reasons) but through the drawing I felt more connected to my past. Thank you!read more

I came across the artistic services of Silly Goose after she responded to a Craigslist ad I posted for an inspired... photoshop idea I came up with on a whim. Being it was Craigslist, I didn't have high expectations for the people who would answer my post. Silly Goose emailed samples of her work via Instagram, which I was extremely impressed by to say the least. However, by the time I read her email and saw her work, I had already entered into an arrangement with another interested party. To make a long story short, the efforts made by the other person was amateurish at best, and the photoshop detailing was done crudely (by crudely I mean not done carefully or with expertise and very rudimentary.) Disappointed, I emailed Silly Goose the results of the other party and asked if she could do better (by then, after seeing her instagram I already knew she could) and boy did she ever do BETTER. it was better than "better", it was PERFECT. It looked just as good and exactly as I had imagined it to look in my mind's eye. My only regret is I hadn't found her first. I am beyond pleased with her talented skills and plan to work with her many more times in the very near future if she'd be so kindly willing to again.read more

I don't have a facebook. so I had to use my moms, thank you mama lol i wrote a children's book for my son. Allie did... the illustrations. I can't even say enough about them. the pictures came out better than I could of imagined. not only did she do the illustrations but also help me with every step to publishing my book with amazon. she definitely went above and beyond.
