Left Bank Leeds Exhibition Features Sillygoose

Sillygoose is proud to announce that her artwork, Dreaming of Home, has been selected for the upcoming Spring exhibition, HOME, at Left Bank Leeds. The exhibition launches on Wednesday, 16 April 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM BST, and features a diverse lineup of artists exploring the meaning of home in today’s ever-shifting world.

Dreaming of Home captures a quiet, tender moment—a rescue cat curled in sleep, embodying longing, stillness, and warmth. “This piece was inspired by the cats I’ve cared for,” says Sillygoose. “Animals displaced by fear have taught me that even the smallest lives carry stories of hope and belonging. This work honours that.”

Known for her emotionally layered and conceptually rich art, Sillygoose blends simplicity with nuance. “Art is my playground, my laboratory, and sometimes my refuge,” she shares. “I don’t create to explain the world, but to invite others to reimagine it with me.”

Hosted at the iconic Left Bank Leeds, HOME invites viewers into a collective exploration of memory, displacement, safety, and aspiration through painting, sculpture, photography, and multimedia works.
