Sillygoose is proud to announce that their artwork, Dreaming of Home, has been selected for inclusion in Home, a curated exhibition by Placeandchips at the historic Carriage Works in Swindon’s Railway Village. The exhibition is part of the wider Swindon Open Studios and Swindon Arts Fringe programme, running from June 16th to June 29th.
Dreaming of Home offers a quiet meditation on the idea of belonging—a visual exploration of the emotional spaces we carry, even when the physical ones have faded. Continuing Sillygoose’s investigation into emotional topographies, the work captures the interplay between memory, identity, and form.
Set within the post-industrial architecture of the Carriage Works, Home brings together a diverse group of contemporary artists reflecting on what ‘home’ means in a time of change, movement, and reinvention. The exhibition sits alongside three others at the venue: The Silent Web (curated by Lisa Lowe), Broken Britannia, and Swindon Animation.
Artists will be contacted directly with drop-off and installation details closer to the opening.
This opportunity marks a meaningful chapter in Sillygoose’s ongoing dialogue between art and the inner landscape — where home is both a memory and a question.
