OVERVIEW
Reboot is a high-concept thriller that blends technology, identity, and urgency into a tightly wound narrative. Centered on a young hacker racing against a literal countdown, the story depends heavily on credibility. The tension does not come from spectacle alone, but from whether the technology on screen feels plausible enough to sustain belief.
OUR ROLE
THE CLIENT
Developed for JAN KEN PO under Rosa Entertainment, the project required technical authenticity rather than exaggerated cinematic shortcuts. The aim was to ensure that hacking sequences, interfaces, and code-driven moments aligned with real-world logic, avoiding clichés while still serving the pace and drama of the film. Accuracy mattered, not as decoration, but as a structural element of the story.

THE PROJECT
- Research
- Coding
- Tech Consultancy
The work focused on code consultancy and hands-on coding to ground the film’s hacking elements in reality. Technical guidance shaped how systems, behaviors, and interactions were portrayed on screen, ensuring they reflected genuine processes rather than theatrical guesswork. This approach helped maintain immersion, allowing the technology to feel integral to the narrative rather than performative.
The project also led to an invitation to speak at a hackathon connected to the film’s technical themes, reflecting recognition of the consultancy role, though attendance was not pursued. The result is a film where technology supports tension with credibility, reinforcing the story rather than distracting from it.
