We’re excited to announce that Sillygoose has been featured in the upcoming Spring edition of the Capsule Zine by Capsule Community. Launching early next week, this edition centers around the themes of rebirth, growth, and the quiet beauty of transformation.
Sillygoose’s contribution, the Sleeping Animals Series, is a visual meditation on springtime as seen through slumber and subtle shifts in nature:
1. “The Dreaming Meadow”
Beneath a sky woven with quiet wonder, a rabbit draped in floral patterns dozes on a bed of soft feathers. The universe hums around it—tiny celestial bodies of leaves, stars, and forgotten lullabies swirl in the night. This is what rebirth looks like: sleep, transformation, and waking up with the scent of spring on your fur.
2. “Silent Harmony”
A fox wrapped in blue and pink dreams, resting in the stillness of an ethereal garden. Leaves scatter like murmurs of the wind, the moon watches over, and the air holds the quiet tension of things waiting to bloom. Here, nature doesn’t whisper—it listens. Growth isn’t loud; it’s patient.
3. “The Crimson Rest”
A deer, deep in slumber, nestled in the warm embrace of golden light. The air vibrates with unseen energy—new roots stretching, petals unfolding, change happening just below the surface. Spring is not just a season; it is a state of becoming. Even in stillness, there is movement.
