DemoCRITIC 2026
Chennai, February 21–22, 2026 — Chennai Climate Action Group (CCAG) selected “Patience” by Sillygoose for display at DemoCRITIC 2026, hosted at The Corner Company, Chennai.
The Piece
The Story Behind the Work
“Patience” reflects environmental fragility through softened forms and fading landscapes. Polar bears appear as dissolving presences within a muted, atmospheric field. The subdued palette evokes melting ice and rising temperatures, suggesting the quiet, systemic force of climate change.
The blurred figures symbolize displacement and ecological erasure. The work frames environmental justice as lived experience rather than abstraction, inviting viewers to pause and recognize the urgency embedded in gradual loss.

The Voice
“Climate change does not always arrive with noise. Sometimes it fades what we love until it is almost gone.” — Sillygoose
The Buzz
Why It Matters
DemoCRITIC 2026 brings together artists and activists engaging critically with environmental justice. By placing visual narratives within climate discourse, the platform amplifies youth-led advocacy and strengthens community-centered conversations around ecological responsibility.
