Non-Refundable Kickoff Fee

All projects require a kickoff fee prior to the commencement of any work.
The kickoff fee is strictly non-refundable.
This fee covers onboarding, discovery, research, planning, creative direction, and allocation of studio time and resources.

Custom Creative & Technical Services

Sillygoose provides custom design, illustration, development, and creative services. Due to the bespoke nature of this work:

• All services are non-refundable once work has begun;
• No refunds are issued for completed or partially completed work;
• No refunds are issued for time spent on concepts, drafts, revisions, consultations, or development.

Project Cancellation by Client

If a client chooses to cancel a project after the kickoff phase:

• The kickoff fee remains non-refundable;
• Any additional payments made will be applied against work completed to date;
• If work performed exceeds payments made, the outstanding balance remains payable.

Milestone-Based Projects

For projects structured around milestones:

• Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable;
• Milestones not yet started will not be charged;
• Delivery of milestone work constitutes acceptance of that phase.

Delays, Pauses, or Abandonment

If a project is paused or abandoned by the client for more than 30 days without written notice:

• The project may be considered closed;
• No refunds will be issued;
• Restarting the project may require a new kickoff fee and revised timeline.

Digital Deliverables

All digital assets, files, drafts, previews, concepts, or final deliverables are non-refundable once shared or delivered, regardless of usage.

Exceptions

Refunds are considered only if Sillygoose is unable to deliver the agreed scope due to internal fault.
Any approved refund is limited to amounts paid, excluding the non-refundable kickoff fee, and is granted at Sillygoose’s sole discretion.
